Patrick Calvar, the head of the General Directorate for Internal Security (DGSI), France’s equivalent to the FBI, claimed that France is on the brink of a civil war because of mass sexual assaults of women being committed by Islamic migrants.
The Daily Mail reports that Calvar commented about Islamic terrorism in France at a closed inquiry held on May 24, 2016. But his statements were leaked to the French press on July 10, 2016. He reportedly said:
We’re on the verge of a civil war. I think this confrontation is going to happen. One or two more attacks and it will take place. It is up to us to anticipate and stop all those groups who would trigger clashes.
“Where is the spark going to come from that will light the powder, transforming France into an uncontrollable country where groups take up arms and hand out their own justice? Who sees a crumbling country where violence and vengeance alternates between two camps, where the spiral of attacks does not stop?”
He pointed to the 1,200 women raped in Cologne, Germany on New Year’s Eve as an indication that the widespread violence created by Islamic migrants– and the void of any justice for the victims. To date, there have been zero convictions of any of the rapists in Cologne. German police have reported claimed that “CCTV evidence was not good enough to charge suspects.”
This kind of non-action by the police to protect it’s own people will likely result in citizens taking the law into their own hands; taking “punitive expeditions in the suburbs” to punish Islamic migrants for the “gang rapes committed by North African immigrants in Cologne.”
Calvar added, that he expects civil war will occur in European countries as well. He explained:
“It’s this that worries me when I talk to all the European colleagues. We will, at one time or another, have to generate resources to deal with other extremist groups, because the confrontation is inevitable.”
Within this context, Calvar categorized “Left” and “Right” “extremist groups” (defending their homeland from the Islamic migrants) as one in the same with Islamic migrants. Because of all of these “extremists,” European security measures are inadequate and ineffective. He suggests that a “small group [could] cause maximum chaos.”
At the meeting held in May, Calvar asked that more resources be directed build up France’s armaments and security forces, and that law enforcement be given greater legal powers “to carry out surveillance and arrest suspects.”
Calvar anticipates that ISIS will change direction in France by increasing attacks beyond using AK-47 rifles and suicide bombers. He anticipates that terrorists will increase attacks, saying:
“I’m convinced they’ll go to booby-trapped vehicles and bombs, thus upping their power. They’re going to end up sending commandos whose mission is to organise terrorist campaigns without necessarily going to the assault with death awaiting them.”
He also expects terrorists (Islamic, not Left or Right extremist groups) to use “‘dirty bombs” and natural poison, like ricin.
He’s not alone, the Daily Mail reports. Also in May, “the former head of MI6, Richard Dearlove, said Europe would face a ‘populist uprising’ if its governments did not take control of the migrant crisis.”
