How did a Genocidal Somali War Lord Become a Dulles Airport Security Guard? [VIDEO]

A recent CNN News report found that over 1,000 Somali war lords who have committed war crimes are now living and working in America. One of them, Yusuf Abdi Ali, has been living near the nation’s capital for roughly two decades.

The Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA) is leading a civil suit, claiming: “He oversaw some of the most incredible violence that you can mention. He tortured people personally; he oversaw torture.”Yusuf Abdi Ali was a commander in the Barre regime, accused of “terrorizing the Isaaq people, torturing clan members, burning villages and conducting mass executions.”

Villagers described the atrocities they witnessed and survived in a 1992 Canadian documentary that ran on the CBC Network. According to CBC, one witness claimed that Ali, “tied (my brother) to military vehicle and dragged him behind. He said to us if you’ve got enough power, get him back. He shredded him into pieces. That’s how he died.”

And this genocidal warlord, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed to CNN that Ali “was known to the agency.”

ICE released a statement, saying: “Yusuf Ali came to the attention of investigators and attorneys within the former Immigration and Naturalization Service, ICE’s legacy agency, based upon allegations that he had been involved in human rights violations.” But, ICE hasn’t explained why Ali has been living in the U.S. for the last two decades.

As a result of CNN’s report, Ali is “on administrative leave.”
