Barack Obama’s nonchalant response to the terrorist attacks in Brussels has raised more than eyebrows among supporters and detractors alike.
The Wall Street Journal reports that his approach has been muted on purpose, believing that “over-reacting” to terrorist attacks “elevates extremist groups like Islamic State in a way that exaggerates their influence.” He has also touted that “many more Americans are killed by gun violence than terrorist attacks.”
Yet, in an interview with Fox News, former GOP presidential candidate, Gov. Mike Huckabee, said he would have responded differently. And, he adds, he wouldn’t be accelerating importing migrants that the Obama administration has stated it cannot properly vet.
