Hungarian Leaders Advocate: Put Pig Heads on Border Fences to Deter ‘Poisonous Migrants’

At a recent joint press conference in Budapest with Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern, Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, declared:

Hungary does not need a single migrant for the economy to work, or the population to sustain itself, or for the country to have a future.

“This is why there is no need for a common European migration policy – whoever needs migrants can take them, but don’t force them on us, we don’t need them.

“For us migration is not a solution but a problem… not medicine but a poison, we don’t need it and won’t swallow it.”

And Hungarians agree– 94 percent just voted on October 2, 2016, to leave the EU because of its forced migration plan.

But even before Hungary’s historic vote to leave the EU, its government began planning the construction of an even “more massive” fence to prevent migrants from illegally entering its country on route to western Europe.

Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, hopes it will prevent what is an expected surge in asylum seekers entering Hungary if the EU-Turkey deal to reduce boat crossings of the Aegean Sea collapses.

The existing razor-wire wall runs the entire length of Hungary’s borders with Serbia and Croatia, which has not prevented the hundreds of thousands of migrants who have already illegally crossed its border. Urban argues that there could be a “greater need for security” along Hungary’s borders if Turkey defaults on its agreement.

If we can’t do it nicely, we have to hold them back by force,” he affirms. “And we will do it, too.”

Security concerns continue to emerge, especially after the recent revelation that security forces began making scarecrows on the existing fence hoping they would deter migrants from illegally crossing the border. One MP of the Christian Democratic European Peoples’ Party, Gyorgy Schopflin, criticized this crude effort and tweeted:
