JUST THE FACTS

The Truth Matters.

Just the Facts— a combination of videos and podcasts, is being launched mid-2021. It’s where we’ll discuss real-life issues that matter to you and learn what we can do about them.

Just the Facts came about in response to questions and comments I receive on a daily basis from readers, followers, and people I meet from all walks of life.

Reporting the facts is a great responsibility. Although it’s often overwhelming and discouraging, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to give a voice to your experiences and highlight your concerns. It’s an incredible privilege. Thank you for trusting me to tell your story.

Many people tell me they no longer watch the news because they don’t know who to trust and the news—or propaganda—as they call it, is overwhelming. When they do turn on their televisions or go online and learn what is happening in Washington, D.C., or in their home states, they feel like they’re in exile in their own country or living in an alternate universe.

I can understand why they feel this way. For the last two decades I’ve worked in politics and in the media and I’ve never seen anything like what’s happening today. What’s happening on Capitol Hill in 2021 America is nothing like what it was like when I first worked for Sen. Majority Leader Bob Dole, or even when I worked for a Republican senator during the impeachment trial of former President Bill Clinton.

Today, we’re witnessing widespread censorship by big tech oligarchs, the blatant refusal to debate or discuss facts among the self-identifying educated, a deliberate pursuit of character assassination and doxing of individuals and their family members by media elitists simply because they don’t agree with them, those at the highest levels of government agencies collaborating to spy on, arrest and even impose travel bans on reporters, and others, who have not even committed a crime—and without due process, and the blatant vilifying of others in the name of “unity.” Most of these tactics were used by those in power in 1930s Germany.

It’s a dangerous time to tell the truth.

The difference is that we, in the United States, still live in a constitutional republic—not in 1930s Germany.

I’ve met people from all walks of life from all over the world who tell me how much they love America. They speak of our country’s unique attributes that simply don’t exist elsewhere. Because of this, they tell me how troubled they are by what they’re seeing in our governments, neighborhoods, school systems, and even religious institutions.

When I respond to questions about what I’m reporting on I generally get the same two responses: 1) I had no idea. How on earth did this happen? And 2) What can I do?

Just the Facts exists to tell you that no matter how dire things may seem, there is good news… and you can be a part of the solution. In fact, you are the solution.

Centuries ago, Plato said, “The price of apathy is to be ruled by evil men.” And centuries after him, Edmond Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

And well before them, a wise man warned, “When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

We as Americans have a voice—and a responsibility to direct our own governance. There are many Americans already fighting on the front lines—for truth, for the facts, and for liberty. And you can be one of them.
